Church can best be described as a vitalized community of people full of God’s grace, love, Spirit and service. As a community of believers, the Milo Academy church strives to fulfill these ideals by living our lives in a deeply committed relationship with Jesus Christ, and with each other.
To make all of this happen, we endeavor to create a church community that is non-exclusive, safe, caring, loving, and open to all. Within this environment, we focus our efforts in several different areas. Our community is a place where people can come to be taught and enriched by the Word of God. Whether one has studied the Bible for decades, or is just beginning to investigate the Scriptures, we are here to partner with them along the journey of discovery. Our community of believers regularly lifts one another up in prayer, while also providing encouragement. Our community thrives on the unconditional love and grace of God, and reciprocates by extending it to all. Our community of believers shares their resources and utilizes their spiritual gifts in service to others. Those who are part of this church community live a life of worship to the King of Kings, and are a witness to the larger community – introducing others to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
It is my hope and prayer that our Milo Church community becomes your own. Whether young, old, or somewhere in between, my desire is that here you will find acceptance, peace, hope, joy, friendship, and, most importantly, the love of God.

The Seventh-day Adventist Church seeks to enhance quality of life for people everywhere and to let people know that Jesus is coming again soon.
Adventists believe a Trinity of three persons—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—make up one God. They made salvation possible when Jesus, the Son, came to earth as a baby in Bethlehem and lived a sinless life in accordance with the Father's will. When Jesus was crucified for the sins of the people of the world and arose from the dead on the third day, victory was won for everyone.
When He returned to heaven following the resurrection, Jesus left the Holy Spirit to serve as our Comforter and Counselor. He promised to return to earth a second time to complete His plan of salvation and take His people to heaven. Adventists are among the believers who look forward to that day.
Adventists believe that God is concerned with the quality of human life, and that everything—the way we live, eat, speak, think, treat each other, and care for the world around us—is part of His plan. Our families, our children, our jobs, our talents, our money, and our time are all important to Him.
